Sailboat Dress

“It’s a warm, windless night and the forest is still and lonely. We walk side by side in quiet, listening to the fluted song of the thrush. Even in the moonlit stillness, Toby looks sun-drenched and windswept, like he’s on a sailboat” – The sky is everywhere
You know that feeling you get when it’s so warm outside that even just the thought of putting clothes on your body makes you want to crawl out of your skin. I would much rather hang out in a swimsuit and cover up all day with a cute kimono and flip flops.
Unfortunately, that’s not always an option, which is why I like to fully stock my wardrobe with plenty of lightweight dresses as seen in a lot of my previous posts. Easy spring/summer dresses are key to surviving Cape Town’s heat and humidity on the few odd days the sun does come out.
If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a huge fan of lace-up shoes. They are trending big around the globe and, I can’t seem to get enough of them.
These faux leather gladiators are now my utmost best buy by far! They are my staple summer sandals and, you’ve probably seen me wear them a million times on my Instagram feed. Statement sandals like this are perfect for pairing it with casual outfits because they help make them stand out more.
