I’m so happy for this cool weather we experiencing out in Cape Town because I can guarantee that once December/January hits, it will be full-blown summer season with heatwaves and we’ll be praying for at least some sort of breeze.
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with colour but recently, I’ve been wearing neutral palettes so that I could wear it again for work purposes. After seeing this printed dress at Mr Price, I felt like going to a festival where I can let loose and be free.
I attended a braai Friday evening and about 30 minutes into it, I sat on the couch and fell asleep. Yip, at my partner’s family gathering. My body wasn’t use to the adjustment of the overload I carried with me this past week from working 9-5, attending classes and coming straight back home to sit again behind a laptop to do my other job in woe hours of the night.
It’s been a week since starting my new job and, it’s daunting to say the least. It’s an all new industry and having to learn the terminology and jargon is like learning the dictionary from over. I’ve also been neglecting my studies even when I know I have two huge assignments due before I’ve successfully completed my PR degree. Time management really sucks!
Sometimes I like to pretend I’m somewhere exotic like the Bahamas sipping on Pina Coladas and watching that oh-so-breathtaking view of the sea and with this boho-chic inspired style, I felt like I was there. Okay, let me not go overboard here haha!
