I’m gearing up for the sunny days to come but, it seems as if Cape Town is not ready for it just yet and, I’m a tad bit anxious for it to arrive. This past weekend, My partner and I celebrated our three year anniversary with a photo shoot in the colourful Bo-kaap and, I can’t wait to show you the images!
The coming of spring is all about tropical colours with bold and bright prints. And, the palazzo printed pants are anything but boring. These super wide-leg, loose, flowing pants were super popular back in the ’60s and ’70s and, it has made a pretty big comeback from what I can gather.
Palazzo pants have become my ‘essential’ item to have as it’s incredibly comfortable and versatile! I wouldn’t wear these in cold weather though as they are more ideal for the warmer season.
There are so many ways to style this item:
- Wear a lace shirt for that pretty, feminine look.
- Wearing a plain tee for that really simply look like I did.
- Adding a blazer with heels or wedges for that more professional look.
- Wearing all of one colour that will make the attire a jumpsuit for that chic look.
I went for that really casual look. I paired my floral palazzo pants with a plain tank top and wore these beautiful beige lace-up heels to create that feminine look.
So, let me ask you, do you own palazzo pants? How would you style them? I would love to know!
