Bush Baby

As an explorer trying to uncover hidden gems in my beautiful city, sometimes you end up on dusty roads and, secluded places so being fashionable is not on the radar.

The last thing on my mind is thinking about what handbag to pair with my trousers. Swellendam is ridiculously cold during the month of May and, we sleeping amid nature.

It doesn’t mean that I didn’t pack with style in mind. However, I stuck with the general khaki accents as a stylish alternative.

I wore this long t-shirt dress before and, it’s the simplest item to throw on. Being in the bush, thick jackets and cotton cardigans are required items to pack in so it’s a no-brainer that I paired this dress with a thick cotton cardigan in the same khaki colour; adding a waist belt to accentuate my waist.

I wore my favourite new leather boot with faux fur on the inside to keep my feet extra warm. It’s honestly the best purchase I made this season and let’s be real now, I can’t stop wearing them!
