Nestled firmly between the ‘castle mountain’ of Kasteelberg Nature Reserve lies one of the oldest towns in South Africa; Riebeek Kasteel and it’s sister town Riebeek West, known as the perfect retreat for any city dweller.
In a world where complexity can be so alluring, I’m astonished by the elegance of Barrydale. Enclosed in a narrow valley at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, and along the iconic road Route 62, this was a town I had longed to visit for some time.
I consider travel as part of my daily life; whether it be visiting a particular place or going on holiday. Over the last few months, many of Courtney and my friends, colleagues and family members began contacting me about places they should go too and essentially help them. So because of all these requests, I’ve added two new sub-sections under the Travel section on my blog to make your travel plans a bit more smoother.
